Noise and Scatter

Data and images from the moon landing traveled hundreds of thousands of kilometers to earth, were received and processed through various stations and pieces of equipment (or were delivered back to earth on 16mm film reels), then re-broadcast again through television, and somehow eventually found their way to YouTube. I’m merely forcing this process of transmission, alteration and re-broadcast as far as I can, observing the various ways the images become deformed, or the artifacts they acquire through this process. It is not dissimilar to the way human beings receive, process and re-transmit information, all the while altering the images, and thus the perceived values or characteristics of the event itself.
